MyWorld von Philippe Starck für Cassina

MyWorld, so lautet die Bezeichnung des Sofas, welches ihr hier seht. Als Designer zeichnet sich Philippe Starck für diese eigene kleine Welt verantwortlich. Der italienische Möbel Hersteller Cassina war der Auftraggeber für dieses schicke Sofa, welches einen so allerhand Alltagsaufgaben erledigen lässt, ohne, dass man dazu aufstehen muss.
Starck beschreibt MyWorld wie folgt:

“We live in a schizophrenic society. Let’s assume that. MyWorld is a cocoon, a nest, a world where we can be egocentric and comfortably commune with our own shadow or collect some snatches of news from the world, that is said to be real.”
