Letzte Woche bin ich über die Fotografien von Vladimir Rys gestolpert und ich war beeindruckt, um es in einem Wort zusammengefasst zu sagen. Einfach unglaublich wie er „Standard“ Situationen aus dem Sport so genial einzufangen weiß. Zur Fotografie ist er durch seinen Großvater gekommen, der auch als professioneller Fotograf seine Brötchen verdient hat.

My grandfather used to be a professional photographer and so I started to take pictures in the age of 15 as well. First in black&white everything and everybody around me. Spending many summer and winter evenings walking through the streets of the old town of Prague and developing my films and photos during the night in the bathroom of my parents used as a dark room.
