Kota Mizuishi präsentiert sein schmales japanisches Haus

Dieses schmale Haus für eine Familie mit drei Personen hat der Architekt Kota Mizuishi entworfen und in Tokio, Japan bauen lassen. Man sieht auf den Fotos sehr gut, dass nur eine kleine Grundfläche für das Haus zur Verfügung stand, aber man daraus trotzdem etwas ganz Besonderes machen kann. Das Haus mit dem Namen Horuinouchi ist in einem sehr minimalistische Stil gehalten.

The top half of the house is clad in steel, and it cantilevers out to make a small overhang. This creates a sheltered roof for a car instead of taking up space for an entire garage. The top half’s interior includes the living room, a kitchen/dining room, a small spare room and a loft that serves as the child’s room. This top floor also includes two large rectangular windows that extend out of the house to create a balcony in one and a built-in desk in the other. The bottom floor of the house holds the master bedroom and bath.
